I believe there are statistics showing that home teams have a greater chance of winning. One of those reasons is because of the crowd.

I think it has more to do with influencing the refs. You can't play that poorly and blame it on the crowd. They shot very poorly and turned the ball over a ton. I don't know how the crowd could have helped either of those things.
