      <accabi T-A takes the ship, 95-75!

Kind of a quiet game for Jeremy, statswise, but he's still a star in the highlight video ...

The Sports Rabbi, with a postmortem of the game, including some nice props for Jeremy:

        3) But what was the biggest factor that gave Maccabi an advantage over the other teams? It was two things each starting with the letter P, practice and Pargo, “I spoke about the importance of practice all season and because of the rule of having two Israeli players on the court at all time which is not played in Europe. Since we finished the Euroleague, we started to breathe and started to practice the strike helped us as we practiced and didn’t stop. I think that was also an important part. Playing every three days with a different roster made it very difficult. I really don’t understand how to work under the condition but we found a way. The addition of Jeremy Pargo was so important for us.”

Good times ahead! Jeremy signs with Maccabi again! https://www.eurohoops.net/en/eurolea...two-year-deal/

          Jeremy Pargo remains a “Yellow”.

          By Eurohoops team/ [email protected]

Maccabi Tel Aviv extended the contract of American guard Jeremy Pargo, the club announced Wednesday (11/7). The player will thus embark on his third season with the Israeli team, after his stints in 2010-2011, 2014-2015 and 2018.

Pargo, 32, returned to Maccabi on April and was instrumental in helping the club win the Israeli Winner League title by averaging 12.5 points, 8 assists, and 2.8 rebounds during 29.7 minutes per game in the playoffs. It was Pargo’s second title with Maccabi, following the 2011 championship.

Throughout his career, Pargo has also played for CSKA Moscow, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Cleveland Cavaliers plus multiple teams in China. Next season he will return to EuroLeague where he last played in 2015.

Am I correct in thinking there are potentially 3 former Zag PG’s that could play against each other in EuroLeague: Pargo, Pangos and Williams-Goss?!

Those should be "highly contested", eh?
                But we don't play nobody.

Jeremy injured his back recently and may be laid up for a while. Dang! https://www.talkbasket.net/31099-jer...st-cska-moscow
Jeremy Pargo will not be available for the match of Maccabi Tel-Aviv against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday (16/10).

The American guard is dealing with back issues and his condition will be re-evaluated during the week. Maccabi will face the Muscovites on Tuesday and then they will play against Buducnost on the road on Thursday (18/10).

Yup. Jeremy's going to be out for at least two months:

Tough blow for Maccabi Tel Aviv as Jeremy Pargo is out for at least 2 months due to his back injury. After Eric Green joined Fener, Maccabi is searching for a high-quality guard

On a related note the Trail Blazers just hired Jeremy's brother to be a part of their coaching staff.
