Default WSU holds Stanford to 21 points in 1st half

Amazing defense on both sides leads to a 26 to 21 halftime score.
I would rather watch a higher scoring game, but I think we could learn some fundamentals by watching these Pac-10 defensive teams. If we could defend like they do and continue to score the way we do, we would be unstoppable.
    Anyway go Zags!!!!!!!!!!

    Overtime!

Neither team could hit free throws in the last 20 seconds.

The Zags need to do in the Bay Area what Stanford did in Washington state.

I think Stanford will be a real handful come Big Dance time. . .

I could do without the overtime though.

Cougs lose! Cougs lose! REAL bad home weekend for the Cougs. There goes that #2 seed their fans were so sure about a couple weeks ago.

The problem with slowing down the game is that you keep the opponent in the game until the end. Cougs are looking more and more like the team that the elder Bennett coached. Great defense to upset better teams on occasion, but the offense goes south enough to deny them from being a top tier team. Low is not the same scorer we saw last year.

Don't confuse bandwagoners with informed fans.

Frankly, I'd rather go into the tournament underrated and hunting than with a big target of a high seed on the back.

For whatever reason, this team plays like a top 10 team when they don't have a top 10 team mentality...and when they think they are a top 10 team they start like a '68 Volkswagen with bald tires trying to make it up Ben Garnett Way.

They're bandwagoner because they were sure of a 2 seed? And the more informed fans would rather have a bad seed than a good seed?

    Go Zags!!! Just Foo'in around.

    Don't think so much.

    Keep it simple.
