anything better (music wise) than the CBS college basketball song?! Such great memories....

This Louisville-Western Kentucky game just wow. Reminds a bit of the Mets game following 9/11.

I’m amazed that Louisville would agree to play a true road game at WKU. I’m even more amazed that WKU is able to host this game so soon after that devastation.

Totally agree. Good on Louisville for actually going on the road. Good stuff.

You forgot AZ vs Cal Baptist, in other words, Oumar vs Pavel (assuming both play). 3 pm, P12-Net.

100%. That community for sure needed a good distraction from the tragedy and the real world. Sports is great at that.

WKU has a major basketball history and was a power in the old days. (28 NBA guys all time). Still, I was a bit surprised Louisville only has a 42-39 advantage, and that's after winning the last 9. Longtime instate rivalry.

Interestingly, Zakharov played in for games for Cal Baptist this year and scored 5 points.

But no longer appears on the team's roster.

This's such a surprise and mystery. Rated the 6th best Center outta high school. An ESPN Top-100 guy. Ran the court well. To this fan's eye looked big, rangy, athletic. But didn't work out at GU, and now at Cal Baptist? A 7-footer?
