    Yep.

And somehow the Zags have muddled their way to a 60-2 record since Mrs. GoZags and I last saw them in person (dispatching those purple mutts of montlake). Hoping it's 61-2 after tonight.

If not, we’ll know who to blame. . And NOT Mrs. GZ.

It's an uneasy feeling about this game as it comes on the heels of Duke/Tarleton State sequence.

I'd feel a whole lot better if this game followed Texas and UCLA given how the team played together in those two matchups.

Yet, Duke turned out to be a darn good game, and showed our resiliency, although the last 3-4 minutes our offense was ineffective. Tarleton State I believe was an aberration, but our tenacity at the final four or five minutes was great.

Still, I think GU will prevail in a good, and hard fought match.

Let’s go Zags. Prime time Saturday night on ESPN2 vs a Top 20 opponent is a great opportunity to get your mojo back and stake a claim to a #1 seed. Let’s go!!!!

If this is the de-facto beverage thread, I've already started. Bacardi Black (purchased specifically for this game) mixed with a Cotton Candy flavored RockStar. I only splurge for the ESPN games, for the ROOT games, it's the cheap stuff. As to the game itself, no worries, we are better than they are, and I'm sure we will be ready. It's a quasi-home game; Zag-dom isn't limited to Spokane County. And I doubt we are looking ahead to Merri-cake (oops, Merrimack).

For all the griping about cupcakes...which would you rather have?

    1) A hard fought, close game against a quality opponent, but the Zags lose?
    Or
    2) A blowout win against one of those cupcakes?

And yes, I am aware of the hard fought, close game against a quality opponent and the Zags win. That isn't my question.
    I'm laughing. Why aren't you?

I never gripe about cupcakes. Every single Zag game is a blessing to me, as I plan my ENTIRE day around them. I follow other sports (MLB, NFL, etc), but a Zag game is special, while other sports are just sports.
