Scrooner - IMHO, this is one of the best posts I have read on here. I absolutely love this.

Terrible news about Baxter. He's a first or second team WCC player and a major piece for BYU.

    awful luck and news.

Gavin Baxter was 4 star, Top-60 kid coming out of high school. Very athletic, 7'3" wingspan, shot blocker, and multi positional big. There were some who felt he had NBA potential given his length, athleticism, skill.

when he returned from his Mission, season-ending shoulder injury, followed by Torn ACL, and now another Torn ACL while he was still regaining his form. ALL occurred within the first couple games of the season too.

    It was.

Kind of like a pitchers duel. No one needs to hit when your ace is pitching a shutout.

Felt really badly upon reading of his injury. As a freshman Baxter showed such potential. I thought he'd be a WCC star. But injury after injury has blunted that. Got to be so disappointing and discouraging. BYU is diminished without him.
