I want to see two things:

I want to see Hickman and/or Bolton spend more time as the primary offensive ball-handler. Nembhard is one of the better point guards in college basketball, but he shouldn’t have to carry the full weight of that position for 40 minutes per night. The best Zag teams have been teams where the point guard duties were shared between one All-American at point guard and an excellent second point guard. Think Williams-Goss/Perkins, Suggs/Nembhard, Pangos/Bell. That position is too physically and mentally demanding for one player to play it at the highest level for forty minutes. If Nembhard is not going to catch a few more minutes of rest on the bench, another player should at least allow him to slide over to the off-guard spot for a few plays at a time.

The bigs need to play smarter defense to stay out of foul trouble. Watson, in particular, needs to avoid picking up two cheap fouls as soon as he checks into a game.

Did anyone know Tarleton is in the WAC? WTF? I know the WAC is whack, but I didn't know they were WAC. Looks like their one win is against Paul Quinn! Who is that?!?! And why are we playing this abomination?

Tarleton seems to be the most slowyest team in the galaxy. Their tempo is #353! (63 possessions/game). Meanwhile, their 3P% is 25% and their 2P% is 43%!!!

Oh, their FT% is 81, even though they are nearly the worst in the nation at even getting to the line. They are top 25 in getting opponents to turn over the ball, so they do have that going for them.

They don't shoot, they don't block, they don't rebound. Nor do they get to the line or take care of the ball.

What a weird constellation of statistics for this team. A bad team with some one trick pony thing going on (Stealers Wheel - Stuck in the Middle with you). Michigan only beat them by 11. We better do better than that.
