Uconn got hosed in the last minute when they got called for a foul on a completely clean block by a ref that had the worst possible position to make the call. Michigan state was able to go from down 1 to up 1 and it was the 5th foul on the best decision maker for Uconn. It's calls this bad by the refs that made pass interference calls reviewable in the NFL. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to giving coaches a challenge flag equivalent for each half. Of course, common fouls would have to be reviewable first

That foul call was a bad one. And a turning point in the last minute of the game. That's the way it goes.

    USD 67
    So Alabama 68

USD missed a lay-up with 3 seconds left which would have given them the lead. Jaguars got the rebound. . .Game Over

Rick Pitino's Iona Gaels became the first team in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's history to beat an AP Top-10 team after upsetting No. 10 Alabama 72-68 on Thursday night.

MAAC teams are now 1-119 in games against an AP Top-10 squad. Pitino has now defeated a top-10 team at four different schools (Providence, Kentucky, Louisville, Iona).

Yeah, love him or hate him Pitino is a great coach.

Penny Hardaway has Larry Brown on his staff at Memphis. That team is ridiculously athletic and fast at every position. Saw a few minutes of them vs Virginia Tech. They are gonna be in the Elite Eight.
He can move 15 ft to the left or right about as fast as my eyes can see it, his name could just as well be Hunter Hustle -ZagsGoZags 11/17/21
