Default GU vs Central Michigan - Predictions/Thoughts/What you do hope to see

Next up for the Zags are the Chippewas of Central Michigan. CM played Missouri tight, were blown out by DePaul but did squeak out a win against Eastern Illinois. Do they extend their winning streak to 2 or do the Zags stay unbeaten?

What are you hoping to see on Monday? Expecting to see? Thoughts? Predictions?

I'm not too concerned about the score (or the differential as long as we win by double-digits). What I want to see is a strong effort to set the tempo in first 10 minutes and build a comfortable lead so we can rotate the bench in for solid minutes in both halves. Don't want the team fatigued for the UCLA game.

Game not as close as the predicted score as Zags substitute liberally in 2nd half. Few rests starters for the bigger payday with UCLA.
Hope to see: Watson and Arlauskas each make a layup. I've seen bricklayers with softer hands...

    Zags 87-61.

I also have a favor to ask. Can another poster open the BZ Bulldog of the Game thread for this game? I can’t stay up for this one, because I will need to give a big presentation on the following morning.
Gonzaga has defeated Baylor, Illinois, Virginia, Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA, Arizona, Creighton, Oklahoma, Florida State, Texas A&M, Oregon, Iowa, West Virginia, Auburn, USC, and Washington over just the past three seasons.

I would like to see more playing time for Gregg. He is so smooth and has the heart to battle on the boards. Sallis has been a lot better on defense than I thought. When he gets those athletic talents under control he has a chance to be a star. He needs to watch a lot of film on Ayeye, and watch all those back cuts and the lay up that resulted, and perfect that. As far as the game Zags- 104 Central Michigan- 60

With hopefully either Watson showing up on offense. If not, please substitute Gregg quickly

    - when reborn was negative about watson he got raked over the coals by no less than a half dozen posters for using the word a joke.
    - how is it you get a pass? i can only assume there is little interest in the pre game talk about c.m.u.

    - and for the record your observation-criticism is correct. between the 2 of them they missed 5 lay in's....that the coaches, each player, all fans and all posters on this board believed would go in just prior to the ball leaving their hands.....but the bricklayer crack can get you into trouble my friend. beware the word police.

I hope they all stay healthy on Monday so they can play at full strength except for Dom Harris on Tuesday against UCLA.

Will be Dave O'Brien and Sean Farnham on the call. I'm pretty sure this is the first time the Zags have ever been on ESPNU, but the other ESPN's have NFL football going, so it was either that or ESPN+. Hope to see a lot of bench, this game is just the appetizer for the main event 23 hours later.

UCLA in roughly same boat so not sure it's a real disadvantage...but glad we have depth.

I think we'll see a lot from our bench, but they are sooo good I think they will get the score up to the 80's. I really do enjoy watching these guys play too: Gregg, Watson, Sallis, Hickman, and someone else.....these bench players can also play defense...so they;ll keep them in the low 60s.

    Go Zags!!!
