Strawther picking his spots tonight, finally. Playing within the framework of the offense.

Chet playing more aggressive with the ball.

And a couple hi lo passes from the bigs. Nice to see.

Chet and Timme could be a FORCE as long as they learn to THRIVE off one another. They both make plays, yet gotta learn to play a UNIT.
Definitely, feels like Timmie and Holmgren together is still very much a work in progress.

Moral of the story, don't try a layup against Chet, he will block that shot 80% of the time.

Timme with a few assists to Chet, believe Drew has 4 or 5 now.

He's being a leader on the court tonight. Getting guys involved.

Super happy to see it though. Was worried they weren't going to capitalize on the hi low possibilities.

Key to the entire season is whether those two learn to feed off each other, more than the sum of their parts. If so, we're near unbeatable.

Julian remains aggressive, which is good for us, especially when he's more patient and takes what defense gives him.

He might even get an ASSIST tonight. Hasn't happened yet, but crossing my fingers....

I've been thinking about these two a fair amount, and I'm not surprised. Perry has more highlight dunks, but has missed lots of point blank shots with no midrange or outside offense. Gregg has range out to 3, can handle the ball and isn't a huge liability on defense.

They'll get there because they are both smart players. It just takes a while because it's all new. Neither of them has ever had a teammate like that before.

Exactly. Drew is a junior now, and Chet is still learning the college game. But once these guys are a "siamese twin" they will pick apart any defense that comes their way. I only wish Chet were bulkier, but a few trips to the weight room can fix that.

Sallis can be our Swiss Army knife type player -- if we let it happen. Gotta give him the mins tho. Great to see him getting run

Stadium cutting to an ad break every time, with a grey screen, is totally annoying. MLBtv isnt as bad.

I really want to see Sallis with an Assist. He won't be the elite player that I know he is until he can learn to dish it a bit more. Zero assists through 3 games

He's so talented but raw. Needs to work on his outside shooting as well

sallis been really efficient in transition and slashing, yet must develop an outside shot of some sort, even 25-30%, or else he's gonna be sticking around Gonzaga for a bit

16 pts tonight on 6/9 FG. Really nice game. No assists but mainly because he IS the one cutting to the hoop or moving without the ball, or getting an offensive rebound.

I think he's an important piece for us. He's shown some flashes of Ayayi with his deflections, transition, and off rebs, always around the basket
