USF gonna get it done. Up 14 in the closing seconds. Some mixed results, but the WCC is getting some wins against Pac 12 schools this year.

BYU got off to a hot start w/ 26 points in Q1 against a rapidly improving Oklahoma team. Sooners slowed them down though, OU up 4 w/ about 2 minutes left. Game is in Norman, OK. Cougs are undefeated thus far.

BYU lost 99-91 in OT.

BYU had the ball in regulation with the score tied and 47 seconds to go and put up an almost immediate 3 which they missed probably trying to get a two for one on shots. The problem was OU got the rebound on their missed shot but subsequently missed the resulting lay-up at the buzzer.

Some really absurd stats in this game. Teagan Graham goes 10-17 from 3 in this game (she did not make a 2). Taking 17 3s by one person?

Harding had a miserable game going 3-17 overall including 1-6 from 3 with zero (yep that is "0") rebounds.

Gonzales was her typical self with 24 points on 10-21 shooting, 6 rebounds and 5 assists but uncharacteristically was 0-5 from 3, had 0 steals and had 6 turnovers.

Strange game.

Like the Zags, BYU had a chance to take the victory but dropped the ball when it mattered.

Pepperdine lost to Portland St. Ouch.


This year is pretty much impossible to make heads or tails of some of the results. USF beat USC, then turned around and lost to CSU Fullerton. CSU Fullerton just lost to Utah by 55 points tonight! Utes can't beat good teams so far, but they sure the heck beat the crap out of bad teams. CSUF also beat Pepperdiine earlier.

Pacific was pesky and hanging around w/ Stanford...for 20 minutes. Second half was a blowout as expected. Anaya James caused them some trouble, 15 in the first half but then went quiet. She went off against Oregon St. too.

St. Mary's lost to NC State 101-73 and it probably wasn't that close. Wolfpack played everybody maybe including the ball girls, got more than half of their points from the bench.

The battle for the Rose City is going on, UP against PSU. Pilots up early.

BYU pulled away in the 4th quarter, beat Wazzu by 18 today.

Arizona was supposed to play Texas in Vegas today. UA had to pull out on short notice, Texas still wanted to play a game and sent out a call to anyone willing and able. San Diego answered the call, game is going on right now. USD was hanging tough early.

BYU putting a massive hurting on SMC. Up 41-10 at the half. I'd seen a bit of the Gaels earlier in the year, and they looked pretty bad.
