That's weird. Usually our free throw shooting is poor for the first third of the season.

Wondering if this is a “get the freshmen as many minutes as possible” exhibition game just to help them adjust before the real games begin.

Many options. Hickman great at the point on defense. Sallis a ridiculous athlete. Bolton is lightning fast. Nembhard is a pro. Those four guards are tough and versatile.

3 Zags shaken up or hurt in 1st half:

Timme tweaked/rolled ankle. Limped then played through it.

Watson landed awkwardly on left knee. Limped badly then shook it off.

Bolton's back landed on and slowly got up, remained bent over, then slowly jogged down the floor. Seemed to move gingerly.

All seemed bothered yet played a few mins after obvious injury.

Stresses me out...most worried about Watson knee. It looked bad and he was clearly trying to tough it out.

Watson made steal coast to coast and cross over without any issues

I know the game is on KHQ-6 (NBC in Spokane), but it's still an SWX production. Yeah, it's preseason, but I hope they clean this up by Tuesday. The picture quality and the graphics are not of the quality that we had last year. We are a #1 team, and should not settle for less. I'm sure Duke fans are laughing at us.

Yowza, this game is not looking good. Way too much hero ball and way too much dribbling. Where is the crisp passing? Where is the crisp cutting? We aren’t going to beat anybody letting teams score that many points in one half and giving-up so many threes.

Feels like every missed 3 has been off the front of the rim.

Agree on hero ball, lack of assists and too much dribbling

Disagree on giving up three balls. They were 3-11 first half……and we had defensive lapses primarily with different lineups but only gave up 32 for a half…still early as they learn

Greg said it will be him and Dan on Tuesday. Is Richard Fox not part of KHQ anymore? I do prefer a 2 man team rather than a 3 man team.

Goodman asked Few today whether 3pt shooting was our achilles, and he didn't think so. I guess we'll see.

82-49 yet only 7 assists on 31 buckets at the moment. Long way to get back to last season’s beautiful motion offense.
A physically dominant and imposing squad but teamm identity needs a lot of work as is to be expected this early w so many new players.

Yeah, Few said youth and inexperience is the team’s biggest issue. On point

Just want to say, kudos to the KHQ / SWX crew for allowing those of us who are out of market to see these games. Hope for the same on Tuesday. I do pay for Charter Cable and get ESPN, etc, but don't get ROOT (or ROOT plus), so again, a thumbs up to build what I call "Zag Nation". If the stupid Cowboys (NFL) can have more out of market fans than in-market, so can the Zags.
