Default Aaron Rodgers out with COVID after a positive test

The bad part about this, in my opinion, is that in August he was asked if he was vaccinated. He replied that he was immunized.
He requested the NFL allow him to use alternative treatment, and they said no. He has not followed any of the mandated protocols for unvaccinated players or staff, masking etc.
The Freddy and Fitzsimmon show speculated that the NFL and the Packers would both decline to put any more punishment on one of the faces of the NFL and on a franchise that is also one of the storied franchises.

In my opinion, once again...that sucks.

One has to think Covid is real for that to be the case.

When you lie to your employer... lie to the public... lie to your teammates and put them in harms way... it borders on it. It is incredibly selfish and wrong.

His fiance eats clay to remove "toxins" from her body. So that's a good starting point.

Second point is that anybody at the very top of a field has a halo effect whereby they imagine themselves as also experts in other fields. Aaron is arrogant to the nth degree and this leads one to believe they know best not just in dissecting blitz packages but in understanding virology, immunology, and public health measures. It's why physicians tend to make risky private pilots and why, even in medicine, I place trust in specialists in a specific field over those with an MD or DO or PhD in generally unrelated areas.

Mr Rogers is a big boy I wouldn’t deflect his lie onto his vaccinated fiancé.

No I should have clarified that clearly as a couple they have alternative views of medical treatments...but yes, this one is 100% on him. His passive aggressive approach to almost everything has sure alienated a large portion of his fan base here in WI.

Not really... He blames everyone else but himself from everything I have read. He credits himself for doing great research and being so brilliant. He continues to lie though. He says he followed all COVID protocols, yet it is very well documented that as an UNVACCINATED person he did no such thing. He also compares himself to Martin Luther King. His last excuse was he was allergic to mRNA ingredients... so J&J should have worked for him.

If you have any links to show me where he apologizes to his teammates for outright lying to them and putting both them and their families at risk, by all means share it.

Rogers gets tested everyday for Covid because he's unvaccinated ....vaccinated players get tested once every 2 weeks.

coaches and players all knew he was Unvaccinated.

These are some of Rogers quotes from Podcast.

"The idea that unvaccinated people are the most dangerous people in society, is the media’s propaganda narrative.
That is what the media has been trying to do they’re trying to shame and out and cancel all of us non-vaccinated people call us selfish. I mean that’s the propaganda line now. You’re selfish for making a decision that’s in the best interest of your body.”

“This idea that it’s a pandemic of the unvaccinated, it’s a just a total lie. If the vaccine is so great, then how come people are still getting COVID and spreading COVID and unfortunately dying from COVID? If the vaccine is so safe, then how come the manufactures of the vaccine have full immunity?”

“The problem with this is it is so political, and health shouldn’t be political. We all should have been a little hesitant. When Trump in 2020 was championing these vaccines that were coming so quick, what did the left say? Don’t trust the vaccine. Don’t get the vaccine. What happened? Biden wins and everything flips. Shouldn’t that give you a little bit of pause? Isn’t this about health not politics?”

“Bodily autonomy is a right and the shaming and the outing that you know people seem to get off on so much of finding these people who you know Oh my God can you believe these crackpots who are not vaccinated? Everybody has their own story and their own reasons for doing things. But this shaming cancel society is wrong.”

"It’s a virus of health, and the most important thing would be educating people on how to live a healthier life."

Probably will win super Bowl....like Atlanta was screwed out of Allstar game and won World Series

Look forward to his conversation with media.

Wow...that was a litany of stupidity. I count at least 5 medically completely wrong statements just among that blurb (I won't mention the even more logical fallacies). I went and looked up the full thing, and it's nearly entirely twisted, disingenuous crap. He had actual medical experts tell him the facts about COVID and the vaccines, and he went for Joe Rogan's "research" and Ivermectin and homeopathy instead. What a selfish turd.

The media he flat out lied to. The same press he put at risk by having press conferences unmasked which violates league policy for unvaccinated players. He practiced unmasked and attended meetings unmasked. Ironically literally the only people that are politicizing the vaccines are the folks on the right. People of color that aren’t getting it would have done that regardless of who won last November.

I see… so his lies are ok because of your whataboutism. He lied. He lied. He lied. Period. He can’t talk his way around that. He lied. Nowhere does he apologize to the press or his teammates

The team knew he was NOT vaccinated. The PRESS needs to be apologized to? for WHAT?

Looking forward to the conversation that Aaron asked for.

Here is a great conversation… explaining how he lied to them about his status. I look forward to him being made a fool of. Sad honestly because I kind of liked him. Now I seen him as being a self centered idiot

There is a word, a name, for people that refuse to abide by the rules. They are called CHEATERS. It doesn't matter what political party he wants to identify with or not identify with. He is a cheater.
I hope the NFL suspends him for several games. Someone else pointed out that a suspension is not in the agreement that was negotiated, but Rodgers didn't abide by that agreement anyway.
    I'm laughing. Why aren't you?
