This game might have destroyed Eastern Oregon’s season.

I no sooner note that Timme is adapting to a different type of front court lineup than he finishes at the rim with two of his patented spin cycle moves lol

Something is wrong, Marty should be 1st or 2nd off the bench in a blowout, instead coach Brian played all the walk-ons.

11 blocks in the stat sheet. Our highest game total last year was 8.

Great to be back with full student section. We have tremendous perimeter speed. Our perimeter defense is going to create havoc. Anton is great at the front of the press. We can be an elite defensive team and points won’t be a problem. JS is going to score when and how he wants. We just about had a big to big alley oop. Timme and Chet will be dynamic and impossible to double team.

That dude is Kevin Pangos' brother-in-law and former Zags walk-on Paul Pennington. Both ball handlers injured for EOU. Not good for them.

Jim Meehan said on twitter that "Arlauskas didn't play because of an ankle injury"

Young team that has alot of talent. Will need some more time to fine tune everything. I didnt really care for all the home run balls that the players were throwing downcourt to try and beat the fastbreak.

It was a bummer this game wasn't televised outside of Spokane, even though I understand why not. 20 years ago was the last time GU faced Eastern Oregon back in The Kennel. Dickau was out with his injury and I believe it was Blake's first start at PG. Nothing really significant happened in that game but a pretty good butt-whipping was handed out by the Zags.

Personally though it was pretty eventful. One of my (tiny) high school classmates played for Eastern and had a pretty good game against the Zags. I think he put up 18 points, something crazy like that (welllll above his HS averages.) Years later I would meet another Eastern player from that squad, and he is now a very close friend. He's also a huge Zags fan and very proud to have played against them in K1. We had grand plans to watch this game together but alas could not. Oh well.

    Anyway... Go Zags!
