Thread: TV SCHEDULE?

  1. #1

    Default TV SCHEDULE?

Do we know the tv schedule yet for the games?

I live in LA and the only reason I get ROOT Sports and the direct tv sports pack is to watch my zags. Is there a link where I can find which games are on espn or root or God Forbid no tv?

Looks like 5 of the first 6 games are available exclusively on ham radio.

Well according to that, if that’s correct, no games are on root? That can’t be correct can it?

Anything is possible with the elite CBB program that plays UNDER a peach basket.

Haha while it wouldn’t shock me, there can’t possibly be a way that out of Towners can’t watch the number one team in the nation play… I have to imagine the website just hasn’t included their fox sports (root) games yet

Okay, I wrote to the AD and got a response this morning from Barrett Henderson and he sent me the schedule with tv information. It's very similar to last year as far as ROOT, but it also includes something called ROOT Plus. I'm doing a copy and paste here so hopefully it will show up okay.

Thanks, Rad, but not much help for any fan living beyond a Blake Stepp jumper from the Kennel.

Yeah, it appears Root NW isn't available in California... really sucks. DISH got rid of ROOT so now I'm trying to decide on the best streaming option for me.

I was told it was just an additional Root channel... like ESPN2 or whatever.

Oh, I don't know for sure... I was just looking it up online and it mentioned that it only shows in ID, WA, OR, AK, and MT, I think. Please don't take my word for it!

ROOT Plus is a regional sports channel that is local to people in WA, OR, AK, etc. It was created because not only are the Kraken NHL team now on ROOT, but the Portland Blazers left the Comcast owned NBC Sports channel and now have a contract with ROOT. Since the Blazers claim all of WA as their TV territory (for those living under a rock, the Sonics have been gone for quite some time), a 2nd ROOT channel was needed for those nights for when the Kraken and Blazers play at the same time.

Anyways, thanks to Radbooks for posting the entire TV schedule. The ROOT games are streamable; you just have to know where to look to find them.

I have a VPN that lets me set which country to connect from, but no way to set something as specific as theSpokane area. Does something like that exist?

The exhibition games may as well be secret scrimmages if they aren't viewable outside of the Spokane area.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, ROOT Plus is just an additional channel... like ESPN has the main channel and then ESPN2 and ESPNU and ESPNews, etc. That's what I was told.

FYI, Dook played Nova in a not so secret scrimmage.
