Ayayi finished the last 4 minutes of the Wizards game tonite. Officially played in an NBA game. 4th Zag to make their NBA debut so far this season with Suggs, Kispert, and Pangos.

Joel has gotten 1 minute in each of the last 2 wizards games, tallying a rebound and 2 assists.

Joel has been getting a paycheck from Puma though. So have his siblings. He could be very successful in Europe.

Old thread title, when he got cut from the Lakers I believe. Still splitting time with the Wizards and the G-league affiliate Capital City Go-Go. More time in the G-league now with Rui back on the active roster, but playing well there.

Orlando Magic announced that they have signed Joel! I hope he gets to see some playing time with Suggs.

ScoreZagsScore is reporting that Orlando has waived Joel Ayayi.

Former Gonzaga guard Joel Ayayi was waived by the Orlando Magic on Saturday, roughly one month before the start of the NBA season.
“No team in the country has a better winning percentage against power conference teams since 2017 than Gonzaga... the Zags are playing above average teams in the best leagues in the country and winning 78% of the time.”
