Great team play is not prized in the icon-conscious NBA, it may even be scorned.

This is the offense for all NBA teams.

Tils is the best “basketball player” on the court. Four of 5 from three and still a team player.

The one I've been waiting for with most anticipation: Siggs' Orlando vs. Golden State Warriors on now on NBA TV. Suggs #4 with 5 points at 5:32. Box Score

‘The guy is a hooper’: Jalen Suggs dazzles in debut with Magic

“The guy is a hooper. He is always ready to hoop and ready to play,” said Franz Wagner, who finished with five points and six rebounds. “I think his real personality comes out in the games. He had a great game today and I’m sure he is going to have a couple of more during the season.”

Watched both Tills and Suggs. Pretty classy boys. Every time they step on the court , it’s an ad for us. Suggs was frightening. . All smiles here!

No it was the game that got cut short because of an earthquake! I was there too. I randomly bet on the Pelicans to pay for all of the tickets. I only bet on games when I go to them so if I'm right it's free. So I had to pay double to see the Zags lose to UNC in Chapel Hill a few years ago But anyway the Pels were up by 6 late in the game and it got canceled and so the bet didn't count.

You got that right Doc. Two different young men, two different skill sets but the same team first, total top drawer class players the NBA is richer for.

I hope Kory and Jalen are more aggressive
Unfortunately for Joel and quite a few of our better backcourt players over the years, I don't think any of the NBA auditioning stuff for 2nd round/undrafted level players does them any favors. Kind of crazy that as steady as our guard play has been the last decade we've only had all those guys combined play in about 20 regular season games (I know Pargo snuck back in a few times too but he's a 2009 grad).

Hopefully Jalen and Corey can turn this around and show the league the value of a zag in the backcourt. I don't think we've had a first round guard since Dickau so this is a good opportunity to show potential recruits what type of guards we can produce!
