De committed from Kentucky, wants to move closer to home in Kent.
I believe we’ve had some contact with him in the past, and we have open scholarships.

No idea who this source is, but I like the sound of it.

Probably the only Gonzaga fan in Ireland!

Let their team make it into the Madness, meet up with the Zags and settle it on the court.

Someone on Reddit in the Nolan Hickman thread has started suggesting Skyy Clark (6'3" 2022 CG) could be next. He was recruited to UK by Joel Justus, who is now at ASU. No idea whether there's any smoke to that story.

Excited if the rumors are true. Hickman is an absolute stud. He would do well within this system.

You got to be kidding. There is no way that Kentucky would ever play Gonzaga unless forced to do so, heck they lost to Evansville.

    I haven't looked up his shooting % but I don't believe it's a strength.

We need some shooters, getting low on guys that shoot it consistently from deep.

We lost Kessler when we nearly had him hooked. Hope the same isn’t true for Hickman.

Can anyone give me a rundown on what kind of player Nolan is/ what he could look like at GU? I went to YouTube for some highlights and he looks good there but I don’t put too much stock in them except for showing athletic abilities. It’s hard to gage shoot percentage and how many turnovers they make or defensive abilities from highlights. Anyone know?

I’m just basing off highlights too but to me he looks like the quintessential pg—- pass first, can set anyone up, tremendous handles, great passer, decent shooter if you leave him open. A kind of guy that will get you 12 points with 8 assists. Looks to be a pure point guard and not anything of a SG. A guy that you would trust to run the show and know good things will happen; a leader. I’m trying to think of the last GU point he reminds me of since most of our pgs were scorers who could run the show. Nolan looks to be more of a pure point than any of our guards I can remember in some time. He will work so well off the bench with the scoring talent we have next year and then in year 2 will be a great point guard to run the show for us

This seems a bit like Kessler as far as the rumor mill. I will wait to get excited until definitive word.

Did Caldwell express certainty that walker would be a zag? I don’t remember

I dont believe so. Just the social media side seemed similar in terms of rumors. If Caldwell has concrete info I feel solid.

Hence the meeting up in March Madness, should they make it, and settling it on the court...unless they would rather forfeit.

If the Zags beat Kentucky by 30, they would still cry that Gonzaga can't be any good because they play in that crappy WCC conference. I know what they would say, I am a retired Kentucky State worker, and am still in Kentucky every day. Those guys are something else.

One guy on Rupp Rafters calls Gonzaga the "It school"

They are the IT school at the present moment.
