I agree. That would be an answer to the 4th guard, and he wouldn't take that many minutes away from Harris. If he moves on a 47% 3point shooter would be nice, but Fredrick would take more of Harris' minutes, but we really need 3 point shooting. Maybe Strawther and Harris could give it to us, but Fredrick is a proven D-1 point shooter, that doesn't turn the ball over, which is also important.

Harris had a high school game in 2017 where he scored 50 and hit 10 threes, along with 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.

I also watched him score 30 against that so called super team of Sierra Canyon that had Bronny James and BJ Boston, and those other rich kids.

I think Harris has great potential to hit big threes for the zags. Look for almost 40% (continuing on his percentage clip from this past season) for 3 with 25 mpg. Lot of excitement for Harris this season.

I don't think anything is imminent on any front right now. We will add the right guys to the team when the time comes.

A big man who is tough, athletic, powerful, intimidating and who can block shots and has a decent level of offensive skill. Gonzaga was just physically manhandled by Baylor around the basket.

Don't think it is transfer-related, though. Take with a HUGE grain of salt here, but hints have been dropped by a couple of people, not just Caldwell, that another big-time recruit is considering the Zags for '21.

Similar to most teams in the hunt, one thing that is always needed is a 3&D player, can always use more of them.

How about the 7'er from Utah Valley ? He is not very athletic, but he did lead the nation in rebounding. Don't know if he is in the portal or not, but he would fit the bill, and has 2 years left. You wouldn't have to run anything for him and he would be happy just rebounding the basketball. His last game he had 13 rebounds and did not even take 1 shot from the field. He is from Vancover, so sick Sacre on him and bring him on down, and win a championship.

Well we know Cook is transferring out, per VerbalCommits:

Gonzaga G Aaron Cook (RS SR) has entered the transfer portal. Grad transfer.

I don't think it is him...my (totally speculative based on other twitter deductions) guess is #2 overall CG Jaden Hardy.

No way it's a post prospect IF Timme returns.

Maybe they are waiting til Drew makes his final decision

    Aaron Cook is transferring
Probably the only Gonzaga fan in Ireland!

I hate that. Mr.Cook knew his role and accepted it never complained and was a complete team man. Good luck young man and I hope you can find a place to get 30 minutes a game in your last year. You were an important piece on a very special team that you can remember for the rest of your life.

Just read about the Cook news. Bummer. He must know something that is driving this decision.

A necessity, I’d think. Even if Harris turns into a monster player next year, the numbers aren’t there, especially if we have any three guard lineups and wish to have fresh-legged reserves, never mind injury insurance.

Sorry, I was just having fun.

I think a more likely big name would be Daejon Davis or Marcus Carr.

Funny but I read that as a D&D player. Most of those aren’t super athletic.

We could use a role player, but not that kind per se.
