    So far:

    vs. Duke (Las Vegas)
    vs. Texas Tech (Phoenix)
Empire Classic in New York (Louisville, Oklahoma State, Providence)
    @ Texas
    vs Arizona
    vs Washington
    vs Bellarmine
    vs Tarleton State
    vs Northern Arizona
    vs North Florida

    Got room for 4 more I believe(15 non-con + 16 conf)

I would guess based off of last year’s performances we would get Providence in the first game in New York and either Louisville or OK St in the second.

I’d like to see a game in Spokane Arena for us “little people” or a battle in Seattle. To me, WSU vs Gu in Battle in Seattle would be a lot of fun.

Edit- I guess that would depend on where the game with uw is.

This shows at Texas, with Arizona and Washington as home games.

    Perfect arena game?

    Play Montana every year.

I love that school. They are often tough. Their fans are great. Good school. And it's just down the street. Give Montana 3,000 tickets, make it fun.

    But what do I know?

I'd love to play Utah or Colorado, too. Add more PAC teams, and make the money-makers local, Portland State, Idaho State, Northern Colorado,

    But what do I know?

I like that idea. They’d gobble up 3000 tickets in no time.

In the old Big Sky days Montana used to being a good legion of fans to Kennedy Pavilion.

The objectives for OOC scheduling are clear. 1. Build the Zags strength of schedule to offset the weakness of its conference. 2. Develop the players skills and teamwork, which requires some minimum level of competition, i.e., an average team rated at 180 or below is not ideal. 3. Generate revenue to offset great expenses. This last is diminished by moving games to the Arena, which also robs students whose activities fees supports the team. Members of the public have several games scheduled during the holidays during which tickets should be available for purchase.

I keep re-reading this and forgive me as it's been 30 years since I lived in the Pacific NW...Bellarmine? That's a college?

I do know it's a great prep school in Tacoma, a number of my classmates went there.

Isnít there an agreement for a series w Kansas?

...if UA jerked Lloyd around as badly as itís starting to look like maybe that series gets shelved

Don't normally feel this way but I think I would do the opposite, flex.

Play 'em & drop 120 on 'em.
    But we don't play nobody.

Not many highly ranked schools in that group. Certainly pales by comparison to this year.

At Texas next year is the equivalent of what we needed this year. We originally had Texas Tech in Phoenix which would have been perfect. Baylor would have also given us a taste of that type of defense, and as it turned out it would have been better for us to play them in December instead of April.

Anyway, I’m excited for next year’s team to experience Chris Beard’s defense in the regular season to hopefully be better prepared for the tournament where one off night ends your season. I would go as far to say at Texas next year will help us more than any single game prepared us last year, even though we had more highly ranked opponents last year.

    Quality vs. Quantity maybe/hopefully/ideally

I would scrap UW and Arizona and replace with USC and UCLA. Would be great to play Kansas again and Baylor.

I’d also scrap UW and Arizona and replace with UCLA, though I’m not buying USC. I think that’ll be a terrible matchup. Give me SDSU instead.

i would love to see a battle in seattle too, not sure how the protocols will be by then.

I hope we can get some tough opponent(s) 2nd half of Dec. Bring back the early Feb game against Memphis or other good team like we used to - would be my preference.

In addition to the ones we already know about, the 4 additional teams teams I would like to see us play in the non-conference schedule (in no particular order). I realize there are many factors and stories about why we won't or don't but as a fan, I want to see these matchups. Also, please no cupcakes...we don't need them. Steel sharpens steel.

Oregon-The next-best program in the PNW. I know, I know....
Villanova-Jay Wright's teams are always hard-nosed and crafty. Would toughen us up
UCLA-budding rivalry on the west coast. One for the recruits to see
Florida State-Their style of play is a nightmare and we won't see anything like it until the dance

Realistically these won't happen but we can dream can't we...?
