Not surprised in the least. He'll make a lot of money somewhere, be it Europe or the NBA.

No great surprise. Sad to see him go. He has spent 4 years at Gonzaga, and given it his all. Time to move on. In so many games he was the unsung hero. Just went about his business. No showboating, etc. Wish him the best. An irreplaceable player in many respects.

Sports illustrated had him as a late first rounder in the recent mock draft. He was a great great zag. He didn’t mention an agent in his post though right?

As expected. Hopefully he gets drafted but he definitely get a shot one way or another. Worst case he will play tier one ball overseas.

Joel is a terrific Zag. He did right by the program and the program did right by him. Wishing him the best as a pro. I suspect that future is not in the NBA.

Both players in the 2017 recruiting class (Kispert and Ayayi) could go from recruits not in the top 100 to first round picks, how’s that for development?

Such a terrible comment on a special day for this great kid. And I bet he will prove you wrong.

I don’t read much on this board anymore due to the unnecessary negative comments about the kids.

I think he will do well in the NBA. He already has been at Gu for four years so this is a good time to declare.

I honestly believe he's going to have a long career in the NBA. Joel is the fill the stat line player that almost is invisible while doing it. Good luck Joel!!!

Loved his game, he will certainly be missed. I didn't think he'd come back, but I hoped he would.
