They had 17 more rebounds and nearly 20 more shots than we did. We never played our game. Got outhustled and outcoached from the opening tip. Did not play Zag basketball. painful.

ya Watson was Watson. I have thoughts but history tells me to take a pause because mods tend to temp ban people for going negative early.

No negative, Baylor outplayed us from the top. Zags have heart and give it their all tonight. Suggs was so fun to watch. Enjoy Baylor

    Lost it two days ago.

Houston not giving a damn, and UCLA playing out of their heads.

    That's my take.

    Rape-U wins.

I wish we had played Baylor back in December... at least we would have known what to expect

On the plus side, Rem Bakamus finally got a ring.

Heartbreaking for the team. I can't stand seeing them cry. They entertained us all year long and gave us one heck of a season. For that I'm grateful. We'll just have to wait a while longer to realize the dream.

Ohio St, Texas Tech, Baylor. Maybe the next step in our evolution is learning how to get away with hands and chests all over the ball handler.

That was as fun of a season as I can remember, ended by a brutal game. It was an absolute pleasure to watch our big 5 this year.

Thanks to all the players, this was a pleasure!

Future is bright and I want one. So does everyone in the organization. It took Duke a ton of attempts to break through. Few is amazing and has some fantastic talent coming. No one knows what could happen....but I’m optimistic

I'm afraid you're right, that's what it will take. That type of play is eroding my interest in the rest of college basketball already though.

Yeah, I'm not a fan either. It is forcing skill off the court at the highest levels of the game.

I felt like there was no scouting report done on Baylor. Hell they shoot from the three so well, you might as well let them drive and get 2.
In order to win this game, you had to throw a lot of gritty play at those guys. Multiple zone sets, four rotating off the bench, ect. The problem is, that isnt Gonzaga. I knew an extra effective big man was needed earlier this year. Baylor besides being athletic was incredibly well coached. They rebounded with authority. Had we shot better from 3, boxed out, got some of their guys in more foul trouble, and mixed up the defense at the right times, who knows...but still I think Baylor was just too good. Gonzaga needs some productive bench players, something we definitely didnt have this season.

In order to win that game, you couldnt play Zag basketball. You need 9 productive players thrown at a team that played that well to win.
