Default GAME THREAD: NCAA National Championship Game, GU v Baylor - 4.5.2021

This is it, last game of this truly remarkable season. The Zags have weathered events and adversities we never imagined existed not long ago and have come out undefeated so far. And then we, the fans, have had to negotiate the most eventful year that many of us have ever seen. But we are all here and have all been pulled together by the fantastic performance of this team led by the unflappable Mark Few.

All I can say is let it ride! Let's Go Zags!

My Dad used to brag that HE could tell me the score of the game before it even started.

The one time I asked, he was proved to be right.

    The score was 0-0.

Well, I haven’t enjoyed champagne during a Zag game this year. ‘Tis the day for it, I’m thinking.

I will never forget Saturday night and wee hours of Sunday. Back in 06, the E8 tickets in hand and jubilation at well they were playing. The result was a walk around the neighborhood for hours..just utter disbelief, anger and some tears. I sold those tickets next day. End of this 2021 FF game resulting in a roar to wake up my oldest daughter who had trouble sleeping and us walking around the neighborhood for a long time and calling my parents as we could stop the excitement. I can't remember smiling and joking for such a long time in quite a few years.

This team is just unbelievable and will never be forgotten.

What a terrible start! There is no defensive intensity. Way too dribbling and hero ball. Where I the crisp passing? Watson is completely non-existent. Kispert is in a funk. Suggs is playing out of control. This is a B- effort, at best.

I think I got all the main “doom and gloom” mantras. Now, let’s go Zags!
