    Default The BZ Bulldog of the Game - UCLA - National Semi-Final - 04. 03 . 2021

Heart attack city. . .Bruins nearly did it. Zags were just a bit better. Thought of our dear friend Sam Cozza every time a free throw didn't drop. . .

What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is Goin on Here !?!

Survive and advance, Zags. Congratulations !!

Who is tonight's Bob Zag Bulldog of the Game ?

ETA: Adam Morrison's radio call of the end of the game is priceless. . .

So many huge plays. Ayayi’s start, Timme balling all game, Nemby huge 3, and Suggs...how do you chose?!

Man, I thought 90% of the game it was Ayayi. Timme then took over in OT, but Jalen had that block and then that dagger of a game winning 3. Suggs is special. Can’t wait to see this team in person on Monday.

Had to go with Suggs... the block, the bounce pass and the game winner. Unbelievable.

I just can't vote, Kispert drew a ton of attention opening things up for everyone else. Ayayi had an awesome game, Timme was solid and Suggs was clutch. Even Nembhard had a great game.

    Default TEAM deserves the honor

Ayayi for the start of the game and for all the great defense and rebounds he got.
Timme for all the work he did around the basket and also even the pass he did on the last play to hit Suggs at full speed.
Nembhard for the clutch 3 he made.
The team for all that they did to keep it close

And lastly but not least Suggs. The block he did and then the full court bounce pass to Timme. And then the OMG half court shot.

I voted other. Ayayi carried them early, they would've gotten buried in the first half without him. Then Timme got going in the 2nd half and took over the first several minutes of OT. Not the biggest statistical game, but Suggs w/ the block and then dish on the break...and then of course the buzzer beater, 2 huge memorable plays. Too hard to choose one, so I'm giving it to several of them.

I was determined to vote Ayayi tonight, but damn if I didn't get my mind changed by Suggs's defense and that buzzer beater.

I went with Ayayi for keeping GU in the game during the 1st half.

    Suggs has major onions.

It has to be Suggs because of the blocked shot/pass to Timme plus the game winner (and he did a great job face-guarding Juzang late in the game) but Ayayi kept him in striking distance in the first half when UCLA was making so many shots.

Jalen Suggs with the impossible shot. The force is strong with this one...

That Nembhard step back 3 would be legendary if the Suggs shot wasn't needed.

    Crazy game.

Ayayi’s play got the Zags to halftime with a 1 point lead, Timme was big in the second half and as much as I would like to vote for both of them, in the end went with Suggs, just couldn’t go with anyone other than the Zag who sank the biggest shot in Zag history since Casey’s put back against Florida.

    - every player contributed something special, and you need that in an overtime, one shot game, but how do i not vote for suggs, it was his shot that won the game.

    - dare i say this shot will bump matthew's 3 pointed against west virginia to the number 2 slot in the all time big tournament shots. or maybe 2. and 2.a with calvery's tip in basket.

Wow. It was the worst of times and the best of times. It was a team effort but ultimately Suggs had the shot. Just rewatched Jordan’s game winner for North Carolina and it pales in comparison to Suggs game winner.

Props to Ayayi and Timme for keeping us in this thing.

Survive and advance. Rest your voices boys and girls. We have live to see one more game from this beautiful team!
