Tumultuous last couple weeks off the field, but a great win last night!

Mariners have a chance to get to the postseason if they win today. Other things have to happen though.

Toro was really exciting, his first few games, but the average isn't THAT much better, he didn't show the pop, and his fielding wasn't as good, but that might be the new position. There are a bunch of players that I would rather see gone than Kyle, not the frontline players, but the part time players.

As an old fart (& as stated in the article) I like guys that don't strike out.

Another nice pickup for the M's. Semian and Seager both in Texas now, gotta keep up in the arms race.

Nice pick-up but still need a big bat + another arm.

I was hoping Bryant but not so sure that's happening now unless Dipoto was sandbagging last week when he said they had two offers out there, one to a notable player. I would assume the Cy Young Award winner is notable.

Also said they wanted someone versatile. Former Mariner (& current Dodger) Chris Taylor fits the bill & could plug the 3B opening they have with Seager's departure.
