Default GU vs UCLA - Predictions/Thoughts/What you do hope to see

Bruins in the Final 4 for the Zags. Do the Zags slay the demons of the last tourney against UCLA?

What are you expecting to see on Saturday? Hoping to see? Thoughts? Predictions?

Timme should eat up Riley, juzang will have a lot tougher time scoring verse our athletic guards, and the rest of the bruins don’t have enough.

    87-63.

Barring us playing the worst game all year and UCLA playing their best, this is a Zag win I don't really think its close

Makes me nervous to be this confidant - especially in the Final Four!

UCLA has a few guys who can score more efficiently and consistently than USC. GU plays excellent defense again and it continues to present historically pretty, efficiency offense. Just a joy to watch.

As I said in another thread, they're playing a team that won a game by scoring 51 points.

I don't think UCLA can score 75 points against our defense.

I think we can score 80 plus against theirs

It terrifies me to be this confident but this one is a blowout.

We seem to have a sweet spot in the mid 80s now...and I just don't think UCLA has the horses to keep up.

The last time Gonzaga played UCLA in the NCAA tournament, GU won 74 - 62, to advance to the Elite 8 for the first time since 1999.

    It was March 27, 2015. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId=400786510

This Saturday's Final Four match-up with the Bruins isn't about revenge. Zags took care of that business six years ago.

They will take care of business again: Bulldogs 84, Bruins 69

Hope to see the bench get meaningful minutes on Saturday night. Our starters need rest to go up against a very tough team (could be Baylor) two days later.

UCLA offense seems to take their time bringing the ball up past half court to really slow things down..... a la Virginia & St. Mary's. And it will be CK's best game.

    Zags win 82 - 63

I agree with everyone else that says it's a little troublesome being this confident. Hopefully, the team will come out focused and determined and never let this turn into a game. UCLA is a good team who is playing their best ball at the right time, but their magical run ends here.

Cronin’s squad just held a Michigan team averaging 76 ppg on the season to 49 pts. after they scored 86, 82, 76 in three prior tourney games. Don’t sleep on Bruins ZagNation! Zags pull out a close win:

    Zags, 83–68.

    Our confidence level is worrisome.

Go Zags! To the game we’ve waited all year for!
