    Default The BZ Bulldog of the Game - NCAA Elite 8 - USC - 03. 30. 21

34 in a row ! ON TO THE FINAL FOUR !!

Zags' defense was audacious. Offense was more of the balanced scoring we've become accustomed to. At the 3:33 mark, Zags had 42 points in the paint to USC's 28. At the same point in time, GU had outrebounded USC 38 - 28.

    ESPN Box Score: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId=401310871

    Nembhard 7 / 1 / 4
    Suggs 18 / 10 /8
    Timme 23 / 5/ 4
    Kispert 18 / 8 / 2
    Ayayi 9 / 6 / 3

Who's your Bob Zag Bulldog of the Elite 8 victory ?

ETA: The All-region team included both Mobley brothers, Suggs, Kispert and Timme, who was named the West's most outstanding player. Timme had 45 points and 11 rebounds over the two games this week.

The Zags become the first team in NCAA history with 5 straight 30 win seasons.

The defense showed up early and set the tone for the game, created turnovers, and totally put in a deep hole looking up.

Jalen with the almost triple double in the Elite 8. I don't even have words right now to adequately describe the domination we all witnessed.

Jalen! But I want to point out that Anton played some incredible defense. It never shows in the stat line but we need him badly!

Timme - demolished a Zone Defense by doing a little dance.

Timme set the tone early! They were unstoppable against the best defense, and he proved he can play in the Association!

Suggs played well but Timme deserves it far and away. Guy was amazing on offense and defense.

I am going with Drew. He set the tone early and USC had no one who could answer.

Suggs out-rebounded both of the Mobley brothers and had one fewer assist than the entire USC team.

    He gets my vote.

I vote for no one. This was a B- performance, at best. We aren’t going anywhere only winning by 19 points this late in the season.

Suggs. Despite another great game from Drew Manchu, if this Suggs shows up the rest of the way, we win it all. This game can't help but be a huge confidence boost for him going forward.

Clearly, Peated Scotch for the win. Thank God I didn't have to call on the bench.

Feel like it could’ve been Suggs or Timme. Timme set the tone early which was very important but Suggs’ final sat line is too hard to beat. I think Timme is working himself into the 1st round though which selfishly makes me a little sad.

    - so far all votes for likely suspects, timme, suggs and defense
    - i went with 'other'. about time we handed out a game ball to the coaching staff!
    - great game plan, day in and day out they get the most out of these players.

Suggs. Just short of a triple-double. Drew had a fantastic game as well!

Hoping in the next two games Kispert can be voted Zags Unit. He has to string together a great game soon. Also, when did this every game thread get a new name, thought it was always Zag Unit of the game.

Right there with you, Tyra. Jalen and Drew stole the show but Anton played some incredible D on the Mobley brothers.

Timme was the reason the team built the lead and then the game was over.
