Baylor won this with defense! Hands on defense. Like it or not. Their defense was just tough enough to get tos and Nova folded. A word to the wise.

I can’t remember a game where the officials allowed so much contact. Barely any fouls called in a very physical game.
Baylor was just too much for a short handed Nova. Their guards killed them with turnovers late.

It doesn’t look like you want to have to rely on three point shooting to have to beat Baylor.

Baylor is decent. They better score more than 50 or 60 if they want to beat the Zags though.

    Better team won.
At full strength Nova was probably a top 3-10 team.

Another low scoring game. Nova barely reaches 50. Hard to win when you score 21 in the second half

Hard to score when you turn it over and over and over.

I do. When we were mugged by Texas Tech a few years ago. That was criminal!

some downright brutal games to watch today!! Good thing I'm addicted to March Madness. Also I always have to remind myself that I am completely spoiled watching the flow and passing of Gonzaga's offense all year long.

Is anyone else watching these games, and thinking "man we are so much better than all of these teams"?

ORU is doing it with mirrors right now. But they're doing it.

I wonder if they run out of gas at minute 32

Yes, with the exception of Baylor.

They looked like they could cause problems if they made 4-5 of those 3s they missed.

Yes based on what we are seeing today vs. what we watched out of Gonzaga all year long. Obviously who knows when the actual matchups happen. We are used to watching a team that plays on a different level offensively, though.

Agree DZ, Baylor would be a bit of a coin toss in a potential championship IMO. They are very talented on defense and offense, and shoot the 3 very well (normally).

If Baylor shoots 80% from 3. I can't think of any team that would defeat them. lol

Charles: "I'm not sure what Arkansas is doing. They're not stopping anybody. I am perplexed at what their defensive strategy is".

Haha, you gotta love it. He's the best.

ORU vs. Arkansas -- what a disjointed raggedya** game by both teams. Do either of these teams actually run an offense? ORU spaces all five outside the arc and then drives the middle, gets stopped and passes back out to whoever seems to be open for the three. Arkansas -- well, I see no discernible organization to their offense at all and more often than not a player ends up taking a rushed, awkward off balance chuck. Wow.

Imagine being baylor with it looking like Oral Roberts will be the team you need to beat to make it to the final four.
