Check out this awesome break down of Bellarmine's offense. So good.

Just saw this on Karr’s Twitter, great video. Maybe scheduling Bellarmine was meant to really challenge this young D with something new.

The Fearsome 14: Scouting the best players on each team Gonzaga will face during the nonconference season.

Below are 14 players — one from each team the Bulldogs face during nonconference play — Gonzaga will have to keep an eye on over the next two months.

Might need to pick someone else for Texas Tech’s best player.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't heard of Bellarmine University prior to this year, the only Bellarmine I was familiar with was the private high school in Tacoma, my hometown. But as Bellarmine is only ten minutes down the road from my new home in Louisville, I pulled up their schedule. Some may be surprised, as I was, to learn that they are taking on the WCC this year, playing not only Gonzaga, but also Saint Mary's in Moraga and Loyola Marymount at home.

Given the disdain Kentucky Wildcats fans have for all teams not Kentucky, I may have found a local team to cheer for other than Louisville.

UCLA's Cody Riley has suffered a left knee sprain (MCL), per a school spokesman. He will not play this week and be re-evaluated next week. Bruins host Villanova on Friday.

The Gaels travel to Utah State today and will be seen on CBSSN beginning at 6:00 PT. The Aggies are 6 -1, having won 6 straight since dropping their opener to the Aggies of UC Davis on November 9th.

This will be St. Mary's first true road game of the season.

That really sucks. Doubt we see him play again after 3 season ending injuries. He showed tons of potential as a freshman.

They follow it up with a road game Saturday I believe at Colorado St. Both are in the 50’s on KenPom which means both are Quad 1 games right now. Big potential week for SMC.

Should they win both, they could get into the "Others Receiving Votes" category in both polls, a tier USF currently occupies. Gaels have tons of experience playing in hostile environs. Hope they win 'em

GU game vs UW looking iffy…

    https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/...a-in-question/

“Mike Hopkins says UW men’s basketball team still not practicing after positive COVID-19 tests, putting Sunday’s game vs. Gonzaga in question”

Hope they get healthy enough to show up for their annual beating by the Zags :-)

If this worse case happens, maybe the two schools can settle on a makeup date for a makeup game. Was looking forward to this tussle.

Tommy chose to reschedule AZ game. Cronin made UW forfeit and took the victory for pac12 standings.
