Thanks kitz. I’ll be viewing this thread occasionally today. We’re in San Antonio, taking Big D to the Alamo, and a meal at Mi Tierra. He’s studying Texas history, so we’re using Spring Break to supplement his knowledge.

First stop tomorrow is Gonzales, where the first battle for Texas Independence was fought. He’ll see for himself how tiny the legendary cannon is.

Man, I hope Big D escapes from the Alamo!

No doubts there, he’s a sharp kid. On the drive down yesterday. I started asking him math questions, to break up the monotony. He kept asking for questions with greater difficulty. When I finally cried “uncle” he responded with a triumphant retort that had my wife and I laughing for several minutes.

Apparently the NCAA is botching life inside the bubble, with crappy box meals for the players. Haven’t heard of complaints from Gonzaga, but Juwan Howard told his players to “embrace the suck.”

I woke up today like it’s Christmas morning. Drove an hour last night to my dads, set up 3 TVs in the living room, and am ready to spend the weekend watching the big dance with my dad like we did when I was a kid. This time just both as adults and with 3 65 inch TVs. I’m so happy.

Not sure quirk is the right word, but it's not often you get natural sunlight on an inside basketball court # Hinkle

Understandably, the young men appear to be a little amped up to start the game.
Unrelated, I chose the Hokies to prevail.

Playing in Hinkle is way better than some football field.

My God. Is there any such thing as a blocking call anymore?? Arkansas defender slides under the colgate player after he has left his feet and was never set.... so of course it was a charge

How is it that all games are at commercial break at the same time.

Blood in the Florida game, Drexel's looking like a 16, and Utah State / TxTech are ofensively offensive (17 combined points at the 12:39 mark )

    And Marquette fired WoJo
