Default GAME THREAD: WCC Tournament Semi-final vs. SMC - 3.8.2021

The Zags face the 4th seeded Gaels in the 2021 WCC Conference Semi-finals. GU is coming off of an 8 day break, but judging from the team's performance after its earlier December COVID pause, time off does not equate to being rusty. I expect Corey and the veteran coaching staff to have the team focused and sharp.

Asst. Coach Kyle Bankhead (& mask) spotted on the UNCG sideline in ESPN game prior to Zags/SMC

This Mercer - UNGC is way closer than it should be. We will be starting our game on ESPN News or something.

Can't wait for UNCG to get bounced in the first round, after missing an unnecessary dunk.

Terrible start. The guys are playing tight. Where is the crisp passing? There is too much dribbling and dribbling too fast. The defense is way too lose. Kispert is in a slump. Watson is non-existent. Timme looks lost.

Did I cover all the doom and gloom?

I was worried that they'd be pressing at the start of the game...no more worries.

    11-2 game over.
