Default GU vs LMU - Predictions/Thoughts/What you do hope to see

Final non-tournament based game of the season vs LMU. Zags finishing off with the two teams they hadn't played. Lions 5-1 in their last six. Will they test the Zags like the Broncos?

What are you expecting to see? Hoping to see? Thoughts? Predictions?

The boys should be more dialed in than last night. Last home game for Corey, probably for Aaron and Jalen, possibly for Joel and Drew.

Emotions will be high, wonder if there'll be a letdown after first TV timeout.

I don't know what the spread will be, LMU has played well of late. Will also be interested how the starters react following extended minutes played last night. I doubt it will be an issue, though Corey did play 39 minutes.

LMU is playing with only 7 scholarship players. THey have been really one of the grittiest teams in the conference all year. Coach Johnson has this team on the rise, and their recruiting class is currently #1 in the WCC for next year.. (with no chet or hunter counted already). With that said, 7 dudes coming to Spokane to face a top team in the nation could get ugly...

Don't go by my prognostications as I have been horrible all year... but part of me is mildly concerned about this game and think it will be far closer that it should be.

LMU's front line goes Scott 245, Leaupepe 250, Markusson 266, Scott and Leaupepe are only 6'6", but with that bulk going to be a tough matchup for Kispert defending on the block. Maybe a little more Watson and Timme together this game.

    ZAGS 92-68.

I hope to see them play with the passion that was missing from most of last night's game. I want to see a good game, but one that has the Zags comfortably in control all night.

Zags 87 - 76, Thinking this is a nail biter, hope not!

Leaupepe and Scott are mobile bruisers and if the Zags don't get Leaupepe off the floor in foul trouble he will be a constant pain. If this turns into a half court game it will be the Zags "D" that wins it!

Hopefully my prediction is wrong and we run them off the floor.

    Go!! Zags!!!

They have gone international as well with Bulgaria, Sweden and two Aussies. A 7'3 and 7'0 pair also. They will challenge.

LMU’s size definitely could be an issue:
    Eli Scott (6-6, 232 pounds), center Mattias Markusson (7-3, 265), Keli Leaupepe (6-6, 248) and Ivan Alipiev (6-8, 215).

I’m thinking Zags will pull away in 2nd half as long as they can play at a fast pace and tire these big lions out.

Gonzaga gets another victory by 20 points. And another record.

A great way to end Conference play.

Their size is worrisome but size also gets tired easier. Zags pull away 91-77
