    Thanks once again Reno.

Great night of college hoops. Zags game top priority of course but I’ll be keeping an eye on several others:
Iowa vs Michigan...Garza vs UM’s big 7’1” freshman Hunter Dickinson
Boise State vs SDSU...1st of two games btwn these teams. W’s could lock BSU in as an at large bid team
Mich. State vs Ohio State...is Izzo’s team gonna surge late, win conf tourney and go Dancing?!
He can move 15 ft to the left or right about as fast as my eyes can see it, his name could just as well be Hunter Hustle -ZagsGoZags 11/17/21

Horizon League kicking off conference tournament today. Here's a google sheet with ALL of the conference tournament brackets, though of course these will change a bit as seedings change.

Something about re-arranging the remaining schedule to balance things out. I'm sure the "they're protecting Baylor!" accusations are flying.

Oh, they are. They allowed Baylor to play the worst team in the league then gave them a pass against two of the harder teams in the name of "load management" or some such.

Really will feel better about our championship chances if Iowa can beat Michigan. If they roll Iowa, I don't like our chances against them.

If GU is the #1 seed, followed by Baylor and Michigan, would they be on the same side of the bracket and we'd get the 4th rated #1 seed?

Ohio State just hit a 3 right before the 30,second clock went off. The officials went to replay where it showed the ball clearly out of the kid’s hands....yet they waived it off. Crazy. The announcers were dumbfounded.

Maybe they went with "the science'... you know something about a curve-ball, isn't really a 'curve-ball" ???????? Why have the cameras... much like the NFL!

BYU’s Barcello is unconscious tonight. 7/7 from deep. 27 points so far.

BYU has nearly 1500 fans in Provo tonight and it is pretty loud. Cougars feeding off the energy. Dons are game and refuse to capitulate but looks like it won’t be quite enough.

    SDSU beat Boise.

    Colorado beat Southern Cal

    From Stats Inc twitter feed:

On Tuesday, @MSU_Basketball beat No. 5 Illinois. Today, they beat No. 4 Ohio State.

They're the first team to beat two AP Top 5 opponents in a span of 3 days in the regular season since Ball State took down No. 4 Kansas & No. 3 UCLA on back-to-back days in November 2001 in Maui.

Nobody wants to win the Pac 12. Seems to be the way it goes in recent years.

That kid COULD NOT shoot when he was at Arizona. Must be friendlier rims in Provo or something. Seriously, 31% and 29% from 3 his 2 years at UA, now 49% and 46% at BYU.

Thinking Baylor, due to missing a lot of games/being rusty, will not survive unscathed the rest of the way. Think either KU or WVU gets them in the "regular season" and Baylor doesn't win their conference tourney. Final national rankings prior to Big Dance will have GU #1, Michigan #2, Baylor #3.

    :[

Garza doesn't look like POY right now, IMHO. He was out-played by Michigan's freshman Big.
    Yeah, we're "The Champs," uh-huh!

Excellent point and, as Statzag already replied, the answer is yes. Zags potentially facing fourth #1 seed rather than presumably Baylor or Michigan in Final Four game is huge. If seeding plays out this way, I’m ready to pencil Michigan into the championship game because their size will be a nightmare for Baylor. Long way to get there of course but fun to speculate.
