Man oh man do I hope Syracuse takes down the Dukies...it was amazing to watch the redemption stories ooze out after they beat Virginia; I just want to see Duke's season burn.

Totally agree. I would like that glimmer of hope on being able to salvage the season, removed.

Too bad I retired a few years ago. It would be really sweet to be back in the office, seeing the angst on a Dukie fan's face, while rejoicing in the Zags' success over the past two years.

But go back to work? Eff that.

This site gives odds for every team's chances of getting an NCAA bid. Pretty neat.

    Some notables:

    North Carolina 96%
    Duke 52%
    Michigan St 11.4%
    Kentucky 8.5%

It would be fun to see Duke have do the play-in game, then lose.

I am fully prepared to see Duke as the 9-seed right next to us in the bracket.

The prospect of a two game winning streak over Duke is very enticing to the senses.

Boeheim’s public comments on Jalen Johnson leaving Duke create an added layer of intrigue to this game tonight. When you hear these “they’re a better team without him” comments plus recall what he said about James Akinjo when he left Georgetown “he never passes the ball,” it’s really hard to root for Syracuse, but I will be!!

Apparently the listed start time for PEP/SMC was inaccurate. Currently on ROOT, under 12:00 timeout in 2nd half.

    SMC up 44-41.
    But we don't play nobody.

I remember well when Syracuse would get the best players out of New York City, the best players out of the district, and the best players from the West Coast. Long time ago.

I don't remember that. They plucked a few good Californians, but they never had their pick of the best from the West as far as I remember. Not like Duke, Carolina, Kentucky cherry picking.

The Syracuse zone looks awful. The players are flat-footed with no communication between defenders. They aren’t challenging anything. Any competent passing team could break it with ease.

Looks like Duke is proving him right.

Duke leads 52-34 at the half. Syracuse looks like a low major opponent that Duke lined up for an early season exhibition game. Their defense is nonexistent. Their offense is sloppy. They look like they don’t actually want to play the game of basketball.

    FINAL:
    Pepperdine 61
    St. Mary's 66

Gaels made their free throws to seal the deal. SMC's first home win since 12/30/20.

That's 2 player Jazz. Nice players, I don't remember either being absolute can't miss stud prospects that everybody was after. Also never anybody from the NW that I can think of. Some of those bluebloods seem to be able to get anybody they want from any part of the country, even when they don't try very hard to recruit them, or even if they've already committed elsewhere (I'm thinking of a couple of Oregon products that Kentucky grabbed that fit these descriptions).

Watching TT- OKS. These stepping out of bound calls are ridiculous. OKS just called for one. Player was literally 1Ft or more away from the line. Total BS !!!
