    The BZ Bulldog of the Game - SMC @ GU - 02. 18. 21

    BOX SCORE: https://gozags.com/sports/mens-baske.../boxscore/7609

51-24 at the half, 75 - 44 at the 7:27 mark in the 2H. Gaels had the deer in the headlights look from the get go.

The only mystery was how many Zags would reach double figures in scoring (4 - Ayayi 16, Timme 12, Kispert 20, Nembhard 10 ). Watson & Suggs had 8 points each.

I voted for Nemby. For some reason, he seemed to keep the offense going. But it was a team effort, we passed, we scored, we showed the Gaels who is boss in the WCC.

Kispert and Ayayi both had great games; Kispert led scoring, Ayayi led boards.

Ayayi had another sneaky good performance. Good to see.

                  - lots of good candidates, i went with ayayi because he seemed above all other players to have let the flow of the game come to him, best.

My vote goes to Ayayi for his 4-5 three point shooting and a really nice dunk. But if there was ever a game where I'd like to vote for the whole team this one would be it, 5 guys in double figures and two guys with 8. That is pretty awesome I think.

This one is "other" for me.
When this team plays this way they are amazing and wonderful to watch. They move the ball and share it until there's an easy basket. The teamwork is beautiful and there is no "star." Nembhard is the best passer, so he looks good, but so does everyone else. For this game the BZ Bulldog is the whole team.

Ayayi. When that dude makes threes the doors blow open every time. Love it.

GUnit assist honorable mention to Suggs for that out of bounds pass into Kispert. That was insane. I wonder if SMC's defender has some burn cream a bandaid on his earlobe this morning.
