Default GU vs San Diego - Predictions/Thoughts/What you do hope to see

Zags are off to sunny locales to face the Toreros (2-6, 1-3 in conference). Will probably take an epic collapse for the Zags to lose. To USD's credit, they have been in every game they have played in confernce.

What are you expecting to see on Thursday? Hoping to see? Thoughts? Predictions?

I expect the Toreros to come out with all of the energy that you would expect from a team playing the #1 team in the nation, but it won't be enough and the Zags will cruise to an easy victory.

It's the usual ROOT trio on the call for the SD game. And I don't think it will be all that sunny, major rain is coming our way this weekend.

    - not gonna over think this one, get in early with a prediction.

    - like to see kispert go 4 for 6 from 3, bringing his season shooting percentage up to 50% on 3 pointers

    - think this is gonna be the biggest blow out of the season so far, 109-62 zags

Some good news for those of us in the Southern Plains. The game will be shown on ATTSW in Texas, Oklahoma and parts of La, NM, and AR. That would be Ch 674 on DirecTV

More great defense from the Zags. We here so much about the offense (and it is great) and not a whole lot about the D. I love the Zags D this year, and IMO it's the best that it's been since 2013. You would have thought that because the Zags are not what would be considered BIG down low that we might be more vulnerable on Defense, but it hasn't been that way. The coaches have done a great job, and so have the players who are actually executing the defensive designs established by the coaches. I also believe that not enough has been said about how intelligent this team is. There defense is not easy to run successfully, yet the Zags are able to make it work darn well. We are becoming one of the best defensive teams in the country. I guess that's all I wanted to say. ACCEPT have a great day.

    Go Zags!

    from my other sports board:
    Gonzaga @ San Diego (Thu.) - Root NW, AT&T RM, AT&T Southwest^
*Portland @ Saint Mary's (Thu.) - AT&T RM^, FS San Diego, NBCS BA+, Prime Ticket, Root NW

The Portland game is now postponed, so hopefully this means that all of those sports channels will be showing our game.
