Suggs is sensational but is Joel the best?
Suggs is sensational but is Joel the best?
Almost with the triple double at half!
That. Was. Amazing.
Think of all the players that have been here, none had a triple?
Wow.
Very few players ever did more in so little space. I just love him deep in the paint.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.
Mark Twain.
Suggs has the best talent and vision as a passer.
Ayayi basketball IQ, experience and knowledge of the offense makes him a better passer for the time being.
Might even be someone that hasn’t been mentioned yet. Just beautiful passing all around. Truly a joy to watch.

*All* of the passers...
This is the best passing TEAM that I have ever seen in college basketball. Suggs is incredible, but all seven of our regular rotation players are excellent. They all see the floor very well. They move well without the ball. They work to get open. They are unselfish. This is beautiful team offense.
+2 Both are GREAT
Don’t sleep on Nemby.
Suggs but not by much......as a true freshman.....12 games in...
- i think suggs is the best long passer, nembhard is the best in traffic in the key, and ayayi is best on lobs and hitting cutters.
- but really i do not think anyone can make an unassailable argument that anyone is the 'best' on 'this' team.
Even as a freshman big man, Ballo isn't chopped liver as far as passing goes. But, it's difficult to say who's the best passer on this incredibly unselfish, talented and just ridiculously fun to watch TEAM
I am not sure how he does it but Coach Few is the best coach on teaching passing. His teams are all marked by great passers. You can see even the progress of some of the younger guys. Julian Strawther showed this growth last night. He and other newer guys will continue to grow in the Zag way, which is the way of the pass.

Why not try Love Poems. They work to prime the pump.
If there's a better passing team in the NCAA's this year than the Zags, I've not seen it. Edge to Suggs given his arm strength on the longer passes, but Ayayi is so special. As a big, Timme can drop a few dimes as well. There are times (and we've all witnessed it early and often this season) when the ball is moving so fast, your eyes can barely keep up with it. And with each pass, the opposition defense gets more and more out of position. Truly a beautiful brand of basketball for us spectators to enjoy! Nembhard was a great find...

As I've said before, this is the best collegiate ( maybe even pro) passing team I've ever seen. Unselfish and they really DO support and like each other Super players but haven't seen a hint of prima donna behavior.
There have been a few times this year when the pass was made and a bucket followed where I didn’t even see the ball leave the passer’s hand, so good and effective was the deception.
Nembhard and Ayayi understand angles and passing at an elite level. Suggs is also phenomenal but more in show fashion.
America's Team!
I think Nembhard, Ayayi, and Suggs are on the top tier. The next tier is Kispert, Timme, and Cook. Then it is pretty much everyone else. I’ve seen flashes from Dom and Strawther, but nothing consistent. Suggs has that QB ability, Nembhard is a pure point, and Joel makes a lot of veteran passes. Who the best passer is varies from night to night.
