Default Jeremy Eaton Cancer Go Fund Me- Lets Help a Zag Legend

    Zag Fans--

The first team that made me fall in love with the Zags, and I am sure this is the case for many, is the 1999 Zags Team who upset Florida in the sweet 16. The starting Center on that team--- Jeremy Eaton.

Some of you may know this, but Jeremy is batting Adenocarcinoma Cancer and his family is asking for friends and family help. He has had his own shop so has no insurance. Mods move if you must, but I want to help Jeremy and know other Zag fans may want to also.

Prayers for Jeremy and his family.

Does he live in Spokane? This clinic is in Utah, but they might be able to find care in-network and keep costs low or free. Any way to notify him?

Bumped ... as I feel this will get more eyes "bumped" vs "pinned" to the top of the Board.

Am I reading that correctly, that the cancer is not survivable? That's awful news. Jeremy is a Zag legend. His decision (sacrifice) to take a red-shirt year in 97/98 instead of playing and graduating with his class played a huge role in what happened in '99.

I will donate. All of us should!

I read not curable, which doesn’t necessarily mean not survivable (though it could).

    Very sad.

Terrible news. "Adenocarcinoma" is pretty a generic term. It means a malignancy originating in a glandular cell, but it can be from lung, pancreas, or many, many other organs. I hope he gets the care he needs, and the funds to manage it. Boise has pretty good care, if not SLC.

I figure I’ve gotten a lot of entertainment out of the Gonzaga team over the years. Least I could do is pony up a few bucks for one of the guys who brought it.

Hoping for many years of happiness and health for Jeremy.

I lost a crappy job because I was following those Zags through the tournament (at work). I believe I yelled when they beat Stanford and that was the end. It was SO worth it. Donated and shared. Good luck Big Guy.

Really helps that they mentioned it on national TV. Good to see the number rising!

It was beautiful that Sean Farnham talked about this during the game, and has posted a gofundme link on his Twitter account. Thank you Sean.
