Joel Ayayi becomes the fifth different Zag to earn West Coast Conference Player of the Week honors in the first six weeks of the season!

    Congratulations to both!

I’m especially happy to see Ballo earning some recognition.

Ballo is slowly improving. Needs a few years but improvement is what we hope to see,

At this time, I would guess that Timme, Jalen, Joel, Cory and Nembhard should make 1st Team All-WCC with Watson winning Defencive player of the year and Jalen or Nembhard Rookie of the year...

I'm not sure what the WCC is seeing, as Dickau has declared that Ballo is out of shape. Dan's buffoonery aside, congratulations to Joel and Oumar!

Just like the Progressive commercial, Dan's turning into his parents.

Let's hope he doesn't go full "Dakich".

You seem quite fixated on Dan Dickau.

Give Dan a break, he's a great Zag.

I am very happy for Ballo. I hope he keeps progressing, and I like the effort.

I don't agree that he's out of shape, but he has plenty of physical upside left.

I don’t think he’s reached the speed and physical commitment that we will see in the future and his game shape cardio doesn’t seem to quite there yet, but it’s improving. I don’t think we have the information we need to understand what is going on with Ballo. (We know about the growth spurt, but I always worry about bigs having back problems when I see them moving cautiously.) I miss seeing his enthusiasm on the bench. He was a great teammate last season. The distance and the masks make the bench difficult to read. What we can see are all the signs of a strong brotherhood in the huddles and the strolls to the sidelines during the timeouts. Last year, Tillie seemed to stop looking inward as much and direct his attention to supporting his teammates emotionally. Corey is interacting more this season but I think others will emerge as more outwardly directed team members.

Just pointing-out the absurdity we have to listen to from the broadcast team. Back in reality, it's great to see guys recognized for their great work!
