Default GAME THREAD: NAU @ GU, 12.28.2020

The Zags reschedule Northern Arizona, kicking off a four game home stand that starts with another back-to-back session of games. NAU hopes to extend its one game win streak and get their second win of the season (you have to say something to provide a little intrigue).

    From KREM Twitter Feed:

Gonzaga’s Jalen Suggs is sitting on the bench while the rest of the team warms up.
Anyone hearing anything via the pre-game radio show ??

Tom Hudson just said Jalen will not play today due to injury of his right leg.

Jalen Suggs sitting out tonight with a leg injury suffered in second half vs. Virginia. He played on after the injury.

I’m not a doctor, but Suggs was walking around dribbling a little bit on the sideline while team was warming up. It seems not serious. Will try and find out more after the game.

Sitting out due to a non-serious leg injury according to Meehan.

The stadium feed just started. It always seems so sketchy, but it is up.

NAU definitely intimidated. They have missed a couple of point blank layins that were not really contested. I don't like the D as well as I like the score :-)

I remember Wiltjer's fancy red kicks. . .looked like clown shoes. Tonight ? Not so much. Maybe it's the white laces and the shade of red ?
