It has been eerily quiet. But until I hear otherwise, I agree with Jazz - no news is good news.

With how Gonzaga keeps everything in house (and HIPPA), I think no news is no news. Not a criticism.

I’m more concerned about the players being covid free so they can get back to practicing.

Fingers crossed for the Iowa game.

I’m more interested to know if the team is ramping back up now that they’re thru the 14th?

I think you are right. The only news we get are a few, inadvertent tweets and Jim Meehan's gumshoe work.

Need an all clear on the Iowa side too... Would really suck if we get another day/morning of call that the game is off...so it's not like an all go sign on Friday means the game will be played. For Iowa, they will have plenty more tests. For the Zags, this might be it til the tourney...although I am certain Few wouldn't let both the Baylor and Iowa games slip away without replacing them with at least one top opponent.

It really dropped once the students left campus. Much easier for the team to maintain a bubble now.

I would imagine that Jalen's ankle has healed up by now. It seems like forever since we played West Virginia. And I want to get excited about this upcoming Saturday, but I just can't. We had 3 exciting games, then the rug got pulled out from under us. It will take awhile to rebuild that momentum.

Gonzaga star point guard Jalen Suggs is “completely healthy” following that injury scare he suffered on December 2nd, per Andy Katz. Iowa getting the Zags at full strength.

Your link takes you to page that says "Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!"

    But I found it:

    Here is the correct link.

Does that mean Suggs doesn't exist!!

When did that happen!! It was all in our heads.

I suspect Katz knows that he's talking about, bad link.

seems like emotionally most of us will reserve our hopes until about 5 min before the game begins.
too many rugs pulled out from under our hopes in last 9 months.
when the game starts I will be celebrating we get to play, although i can't bring myself to drink beer before noon

Notice how the players have been on radio silence regarding social media the past 10 days? I suspect there were directions from higher up, but good for them to take instruction well.

It will be hours past noon in IrishZags time zone.
Go ahead and have a few and be drinking with him, and ALL the Zags playing in Europe that will be watching the game.

I am cautiously optimistic about the Zags playing the Iowa game, I'll be relieved when the game finally starts and I see Suggs is healthy.
It's not the size of the Bulldog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the Bulldog!

    GO ZAGS!!!
