I expect Texas to pull that one out. Something like 78-76.

In unrelated news, the Indiana Hoosiers are playing the Longhorns on espn right now.

Only 14 points scored between both teams 12:24 remaining. . .Longhorns and Hoosiers both 2 - 0 to start the day.

Walton & Pasch up to their usual schtick.

That BYU game is a big deal for the WCC. The conference needs that one. And the Zags need Kansas to take care of business against Kentucky.

BYU looks horrid: down by 22 to USC. They're showing about as much movement as a senior citizens home.

    Woof, BYU looks absolutely terrible.

    Like awful.

Not sure who the heck is going to be challenging us in the conference play. But it sure won't be BYU.

byu looked bad, but i wouldn't read too much into it...they couldn't buy a bucket...were missing wide open looks. they lack athleticism, but they normally can shoot.

    Unhappy Wow. Stinker.

If not BYU to challenge/prep us for the Big Dance, then who? (I guess Kansas, Auburn, W. Virginnie, Baylor, and Iowa.) Not being able to properly "ready" for this season has put a lotta early hurt on the WCC. Thank you, USF, for taking down Virginia.

Maybe the Gaels can hold serve at home vs Nicholls. Nicholls playing their 3rd game in 4 days. Already lost to Santa Clara and Cal-badly.

    Yeah.

That's going to take some getting used to.

    Kansas wins! "Great news!"

Not sure about that yet ...

So USC with 17 fouls, BYU with 14. Without going over to their forum, can I assume that BYU got hosed by the refs?

Husky men’s basketball falls to 0-2 after 57-42 loss to UC Riverside. The honeymoon for coach Hopkins is definitely over. They haven't been successful installing the Syracuse zone defense.

No BYU win and no BYU loss will ever surprise me. If you told me that they lost to Idaho State, I would shrug. If you told me that they won a slugfest against Villanova, that wouldn’t surprise me, either. They seem to play a few of these stinkers every season, but they also find a way to compete against Gonzaga’s best teams for one game per year.

Their style of play yields wild swings in outcomes from game to game. They chuck a lot of threes. When the shots are falling, they win. When they aren’t, they can lose to the Wasatch Valley Community College. They push and grab and flop as much as any team in college basketball. When the officials allow it, their defense can ugly up any opponent’s offense. When the officials don’t allow it, they gripe about the officials, instead of adjusting to the officials.

That’s how they play. That’s how they win. That’s how they lose.

Duke & Michigan State tied at 29

    3:00 yo go, 1H

The Dookies used a wide width 8 color digital printer to produce a nearly full court length mural of Cameron Crazies. Much better alternative to the people sized cut-outs we saw in MLB.

GU could do the same ! For most pre-conference games, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the photo mural and actual fans.

    37 - 33, Spartans at the half.
