The Gonzaga vs Duke game in Hawaii was one of the All-Time best games ever. That being said, this was a really really good game for Gonzaga. This year's Gonzaga team has a really good team. The Kansas team this year is not as good as Duke was back then. That being said, Gonzaga has neve played Kansas and I've wanted to play them for a long time. Beating Kansas is every bit as big as beating Duke, imo, maybe in some ways better. Gonzaga did look pretty good today, I will say that. And Suggs is definitely someone very special. He's an amazing player to watch.

This team is probably more talented as a whole, but we were expected to win today. The country viewed the Duke game as an upset, and Duke had players considered to be the best in college ball. I'll take the Maui game with our cast of underrated overachievers!

Imagine how good this team would be with Brandon Clarke on it. We don’t need him to win it all, but he was the best athlete and rim protector we’ve ever had.

Now imagine how good that year’s team would have been with a Jalen Suggs. Honestly, insert Suggs into most other Zag teams and they’re a title contender.

no comparison...zags were expected to beat kansas. nobody thought the zags were going to beat that overhyped duke team...zion was a unicorn, but the other guys on that team were mehhh...i would take rui and bc over rj anyday.

Duke win > KU win

Duke was #1. They had just destroyed a really good Kentucky team. They had Zion and all they hype that went with that. Plus we had some bad history with them to re-write.

However, the fact that Nov 26th is the day we beat both of them makes it a Zag holiday forever. Needs a name though.....Giant killer day?

I still have the Duke game saved on my recorder and watch it every few months. The first half is the best that the Zags have ever played IMO.
