    Zags vs. Jayhawks Beverage Thread

Oh man does today feel like I'm coming out of a long, COVID-induced college basketball slumber! What are we all drinking on this holy day?

More than likely it is just Diet Coke for me, as I rarely drink alcohol before 12 noon. The game starts at 10:30 am for me. We shall revisit the issue at halftime.

It is 5:30 somewhere, at game time! LOL

I will have coffee with a blue dolphin chaser.
Not even a smile? What's your problem!

I was going to ask if you were from Wisconsin, and then I saw what your handle was! I’ve learned how to make them for people from Wisconsin over the years.

Holy Mountain Involution IPA - picture coming when I crack it open

Involution is a soft and juicy IPA brewed with Two Row, Pilsner malt, and malted spelt. It was hopped heavily with a combination of Citra, Strata, and Talus (formerly HBC 692). The wort was then transferred through whole leaf Mosaic hops in our hop back, which stripped the leaves of their oil, creating an extra punch of flavor and aroma without extracting additional bitterness. After fermentation, it was dry hopped heavily with more Citra, Strata, Talus, and Mosaic.

Espresso martini on the rocks, not too much vodka though.

It's almost noon here, I went ahead and fixed myself a strong rum and Coke. By the end of the Zags game, I should be ready for some football I guess.

Drinking wine down here in Texas. Started with a Sauvignon Blanc from Barrister Winery in Spokane, next is a Sweet Duet from Lost Oak Winery (webspinner knows them), I’ll follow with a Montepulciano for good measure.

I’m waiting on my grand babies to arrive: 10 YO Big D and 5 MO Palmer...they both like hanging out with Opa. They know “what happens at Opa’s house, stays at Opa’s house.”

I'm semi-hammered now, with the rum and Coke. Great win for us today. Stone cold lock I will be sober for the Auburn game; I do not drink booze at 8 am. Oh well.
