Data released by NCAA Tuesday has GU student-athletes among nation’s elite

INDIANAPOLIS – Gonzaga student-athletes are graduating at a rate of 98 percent according to the latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) numbers released by the NCAA on Tuesday, including 10 GU teams that achieved a 100 percent graduation rate.

IIRC, you don't have to graduate, you just have to be on track when you leave the program.

It is a nice number, but the real way to measure a program's academic success is thru using the APR, which is what the NCAA uses. If you use the federal graduation rates, the Zags wouldn't have gotten credit for graduating JP Batista, and would have been penalized for Grant Gibbs transferring to Creighton for more PT.
