Zags beat Nova and Dook on way to NC. That’s unimaginable, but.

Watson will definitely be WCC POY at some point.

I'm not sure how many 'some points' we're gonna get with Watson. I think it's time to probably to start ripping the band aid off now and realize he's likely gone after this season.

Which brings me to my bold prediction:

Watson is the highest NBA drafted Zag in 2021.

Biggest Ever, and we can do this: Zags run the entire table and win the National Championship fist time since 1976. But do not get full credit because of a COVID shortened season !

Not really a bold prediction: Chet Holmgren will commit to GU as the top player in the nation. Bold prediction: Chet's commitment will bring in slew of top talent most notably Hunter Sallis who is leaning blue blood bound right now.

I'm going all-out on Joel Ayayi. He will be WCC player of the year and first team All American, and will get drafted in the first round. Here's to a great season.

What is very cool is that this year this thread is much more in the spirit it was always intended. Because we made the "No National Champ Rule" (As No. 1 going into year), more predictions have been about individual players and how they'll do - which I always found more interesting than records and all that.

I love hearing how people believe each player will do. I had forgotten Watson might takeover college basketball.

Nine years ago, my first BOLD prediction was that - as a sophomore, Gary Bell Jr. would lead the team in scoring, I was wrong, that was the year he couldn't hit a shot. But still, it was bold and that was the year - when he couldn't shoot - that he became the lockdown off the ball defender, best we've ever had.

I predict...There will be March Madness this season, even if it happens in April or May.

Arlo puts Matt Haarms on a poster!
After receiving a half cout aly-oop pass from Suggs, Arlo throws one down over Haarms at 7"4 to give Zags 50-32 lead at the half in Provo.

Would saying that the Zags are so dominant as number one team (and I suspect they'll be no. 1 all year), they get 5 WCC all-conf, especially with WCC being "10" First team?

I already made my bold prediction, a frosh would be POY in conf (and Ballo counts as Frosh), but just interested in knowing if it's possible.

I know BYU will be better than normal, very good even.
