Jalen Suggs. He's a tone setter much in the way of a bruising strong safety. Very, very impressed.

Drew Timme and Corey Kispert had great games as well. Sweet Jesus these guys are good.

The good news is Suggs is already the best player on the team.

The really good news is that Suggs is the best player despite playing with two guys that could be All Americans (Kispert and Timme) and a whole bunch of other studs!

    An embarrassment of riches.

Suggs! What a joy he's going to be for the team the rest of this year! Just unbelievable!

Suggs. He’s underrated on draft boards. Timme and Kispert were close second/third and Ayayi was 4th.

Suggs but wow, the skill and talent on this team is exciting. Timme and Kispert looking great. Ayayi would have had a double double with just one more rebound, he led with 9.

It could easily have been Timme or Kispert. Ayayi had 15/9 only missing two 3's.
I have to give it to Suggs for the points and assists.

Can you believe it? Gonzaga has THREE players averaging over 20 points per game! Five players averaging double figures!
    It's not funny.

100 pts against Kansas impressive. Timme and Kispert both scored 20 plus points, and Suggs comes in as a freshman scores 240and plays like he has been in the program for a couple of years. All three were outstanding. It’s gonna be a fun year. The one thing I hope is that Suggs will have a chance to play in the Kennel.

    Suggs gets my vote

Did you cringe when the announcer compared him to Pargo during the the first half ?

I went with Jalen, but I stand firm that this is Corey’s team.

    - i went with timmie, as he dominated the first half.
    - although kansas tied the game in the second half, i think the first half convinced the team they were better and would win.

    - that said suggs was the best player on the floor in the second half.
    - i have said i think nwg was 'the' best guard gonzaga has had in the few era. i'm not giving up on that with just one game, but i think suggs is going to take that spot in my mind before too many more games.

It better be. He can change game in three possessions.

Personaly I think Timme was the man. Stayed out of foul trouble and handled the post without any true backup. He's going to average 20+ this season.

I voted for Jalen Suggs. He was pretty darn tough, and did attack the basket better than Williams-Goss. Suggs is sooo big and has so many ways to get the ball in the hoop when driving. And did you see his passing, Jazz? He looked better than Williams-Goss to me. And that's hard to say. I mean this is his first college game, and against Kansas who plays really really tough defense. Suggs seemed unstoppable to me, and he did take over the game in the second half.

    Go Zags!

That’s nothing Reno. I had to listen to most of the game while ferrying my lovely bride to Kroger to pick up more supplies. The ESPN feed came from the Jayhawk network, an insufferable duo to listen to. “Homers” would be a loose description of their broadcast. Just sorry (not really) that I was able to watch the last 8 minutes on the telly.

With our recruiting, get used to this rarified air. We are becoming a destination stop. The new Kentucky for top players. Love Suggs, but I'm going with Corey. Hit some key 3s to stop an early hemorrhage.

    I’m Thankful for Suggs.

This is Suggs team IMO....truly gifted point guard with mindset of a tough quarterback....how many times did he hit the deck?

passing driving shooting dunking defense ..... 5 tool player

    8 assists 1 TO

A couple of his drives amongst the tall trees recalled some our past PG's, and not just Jeremy.
