Me too. Didn't LMU have injury super-issues this year? Hope Portland gives Terry Porter another year. He's got some young players who seem athletic and capable. Second hope: that Damon doesn't leave Pacific now that he's got his guys there, a full complement of scholarships, etc. Hope he's comfortable in Stockton, likes the school, feels like, "Team's now winning. My guys. I got plenty of NBA $$ in the bank. It's a hassle to pick up and leave for another job, so think I'll stay in NorCal, turn Pacific into a player for the WCC's top echelon and a semi-yearly bid to the Big Dance or NIT." That hope goes double for Romar & Pepperdine.

And that is the same as the Blue Bloods contacting Fewie.

LMU doesn't have a good history with handling their coaches. They also made a massive mistake when they cut ties with Rodney Tension who the Gonzaga staff really respected. How can they expect any coach to win at Gersten Pavilion? They need new facilities. I always respected Dunlap's teams because they always played hard.

I very much disagree with the author of this article that Portland is the worst job in the WCC. They have a facilities advantage over other WCC schools. The problem with Portland is that they should have never fired Eric Reveno. One of the dumbest WCC firings in the past 20 years.

The older he gets the more he makes a fool out of himself every time he opens his mouth. Why is he allowed to coach anywhere when the ncaa suspended Bruce Pearl and Sampson for doing much less than Pitino did. One just lied and the other just made to many phone calls. Neither one of them paid a player $150000.The ncaa will continue to pick and choose until some school takes them to court for discrimination. This would be a case that the ncaa could not win.

From what I've heard, Randy Bennet was GCU's first choice and was rumored to have been offered 1.5 million per year before turning it down.
It's an open secret in college basketball circles that GCU wants out of the WAC and has been lobbying the WWC.
