Default Killian Tillie invited to NBA Draft Combine

    https://247sports.com/Article/NBA-Dr...ton-152103784/
The combine, which ordinarily takes place over the course of just a couple days in May, has been altered because of social distancing restrictions.

“NBA Draft Combine 2020 will give players the opportunity to participate in league and team interviews, both conducted via videoconference from Sept. 28 through Oct. 16,” the league announced in a press release last week. “Players will also take part in an individual on-court program consisting of strength and agility testing, anthropometric measurements, shooting drills and a ‘Pro Day’ video, all conducted in October at the NBA team facility nearest to a player’s home or interim residence. Medical testing and examinations will be performed by NBA-affiliated physicians in the same market.”

The list of this year’s combine participants has been released. There are a few notable names not on the list, including prospective high lottery picks Anthony Edwards (Georgia), James Wiseman (Memphis) and Obi Toppin (Dayton).

Apparently, tThese guys declined the invitation to attend and were not slighted by the makers of the list.

Those guys and their agents have determined there is no upside to attending and are confident in their draft status. They feel there is no reason to expose themselves to anything negative that may occur at the combine.

There is no reason for the makers of the list to slight them. All three will be selected near the top of the draft. I’m surprised Ball is planning to attend.

I maintain Tillie will be a steal and an early second round pick.

I found this article about Killian in Forbes excellent: https://www.forbes.com/sites/chrisgr.../#6c5020075f45

Gonzaga’s Killian Tillie Could Be A Valuable Sleeper Pick For The Boston Celtics In 2020 NBA Draft

Killian Tillie is a picture-perfect NBA role player, but his college career and pro trajectory have been clouded with question marks due to his injury-prone past. How NBA teams plan to approach that injury history remains to be seen, but he’s certainly worth a selection in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Tillie had a good interview with the Boston Celtics back in the spring, per a source. With four total picks in this year’s draft, the Celtics will continue to meet with a wide range of players, but this information allows us to explore his potential fit in Boston.

A completely-healthy Tillie would undoubtedly be a first-round pick. His feel for the game is as good as any prospect in this class, showcasing terrific decision-making on both ends, a sky-high basketball IQ and solid versatility.

I'm having nightmares over the possibility that Killian will be drafted by Golden State. I'd love it if KT was drafted by the Mavericks, he'd be a perfect fit on the court with Luka. I've also read where the Grizzlies are looking at him. On most of the draft boards I've looked at, he's in the 30-40 range on the draft board.

    You knew this was coming...lol.

I feel like Jordan Ford from SMC should have at least been invited too. Gamer.
