Missed the point....by a mile. There are prerequisites. Assuming we are listed on a recruit’s wish list and, ideally, he has made a visit, we have a chance until he decides to go elsewhere. Assigning odds or percentages is nonsense.

Exactly. With the way the Zags are recruiting right now, I wouldn't worry much if Nembhard chooses a different school. It sounds like we are in on some highly rated HS PG's for '21 too.

It's not the end of the world but I'd certainly be disappointed. I would have taken NWG over any freshman PG in 2017 and I feel pretty confident about Andrew outperforming any frosh PG in 2021. The difference in maturity between an 18 and a 21 year old is huge, not to mention a year redshirting in the program.

Here's hoping for a Nembhard commit in 2021.

Been fly fishing for the last week with very limited internet, but briefly caught up on my messages and scrolled the boards. Two things, first Suggs will be in Spokane playing for the Zags (I know everyone's favorite topic is he is not coming) and second Andrew should announce within the week that he is coming to Spokane as well. Things can change, yet it's recruiting, but as of right now I am 97.5% confident we will have these two on the team next year.

Right, so now we agree that there is nuance and context to these things. Caldwell appears to have a pretty good track record on his predictions and clearly has inside information. Thus, he is able to assign odds or percentages as he is much more informed than you or I. Instead of getting excited about the prediction which would mean an awesome transfer to Gonzaga, you try to sound smarter than everyone and rain on the parade by pulling out some binary option jargon. You're 100% correct that from the perspective of GU, he either comes here or he doesn't. I'm fairly certain every other member of the board can figure that out.
